Just took a few quick pics this evening of the ctr. Quality of them isnt great. Not sure if I like the bonnet tilted or not:lol: I would like your opinion's on what way I should go with styling, some simple mods, not carbon though as I dont have that sort of money at the mo!

The back looks lower than the front to me. What did you do to tilt the bonnet?
 
Ye the back does look like it sits lower. Can't deny though, I do love the agressive stance. What suspension have you got, and how much have you lowered it by?

ps I like it as it is. Get some tuning mods intead :)
 
the bonnet can be raissed with washers :)...
car looks nice, however, with regards about the look of your car, just make it look how YOU would like it :)
 
Im personally not a great fan of the raised bonnet, but as babyface says, if you like it then keep it :)
 
You can also do the job with a black custom-made sticker! :D

i'm guessing that the hinges for the bonnet have been spaced out a bit hence raising the rear of the bonnet up a tad

i would sort out the stance, rear is too low. then get the wheels refurbed, bodywork looks mint but wheels look grubby :nice:
 
Thanks for the comments lads. The rear isnt sitting lower than the front it just looks like that the way I took the pics. Yeh the bodywork is mint alright and they wheels do need a respray. There is spacers and longer bolts which tilt up the bonnet. Half thinking about selling in and buying a vti coupe and putting a b18c in it...
 
a coupe with a b18c?why would you bother like?the ek9 is a much better and far sexier car,the coupe wont handle near the same level....why not just b18c your ek9?make more sense to me,but just my opinion......


as for the bonnet?not for me man,looks like youve a dodgy bonnet tbh
 
drop a B18C6 in the ek9! you'll get some good money for the B16B when you sell it!
 
Just to be different far too many ek9's around where I live and I dont think I would have the money to put a b18c in the ek9...Yeah I liked the bonnet at first but im not pushed on it now...
 
you right Teamdiesel it can be adjusted back to normal anyway nice ek keep it simple and clean any plans for the future ??? :D
 
bushings off a skateboard work wonder's when raising the bonnet...mint car man.. just go for engin mods!!!defo!!
 
dont do it mate em1 vti coupe's are way to heavy and long ive had one before my ek9 drop a b18 typer lump in the ek9 you never look back :nice:

Half thinking about selling in and buying a vti coupe and putting a b18c in it...
 
Nice car.....mmmm about the raised bonnet, why some people do that? is there a purpose in doing that, like aero dynamics or style?
 
less drag resistance. Spoon also sells aerodynamic amrs that attach to the wipers. It's like the reverse if you raise your hood you don't really the wiper air splitters, but if you have aerodynamics w/o raising the hood get the air splitter wipers. Anyways its more of a style more than anything. Circuit racers use it to help cool the engine and have the air flow better. I don't think it has been tested before though...
