My Ek9 Project[UPDATED 23-02-2013]

Looks good, what did you use to sand the gearbox i.e. just sand paper or a machine etc?

Nice spec motor, Not been smart asking this but is your car 185bhp with all them mods when you bought it?

No Not At All , so far mods ive done are Itg Air Intake , Neptune Management , new fuel pump , altenator ,Now going in exeedy organic , s80 4.7 with s4c 4th+5th , findanza flywheel , and have already spent alot on engine dress up and components like thermal gaskets , magnetic drain plugs , dampers etc and alot of My time .

Cleaned it down with Gunk Degreaser [Pack it on] , Scrubbed with Light wire wool to remove all grease and grime , then got a soft wire brush and went at it by hand for about 2 hours [kept putting on the gunk degreaser] , came up pretty clean when i done that also removed a lot of the hard grime that had built up over it which scrubbing wouldn't remove , Then washed it down with power washer and a brush and washing up liquid [All holes gaps filled in well to prevent water getting in] , Dried it well , washed down with Thinners , Masked it up and Sprayed it with Heat Resistant 500 Degree Aluminium Paint , Gave it about 4 coats all in , 2 tins , Ill Post A couple more picture of the box when i finished cleaning with the wire brush .

Any sign of your tweak map ? I'm getting close to having my ek9 back on the road now .. So after longer driving what do you think of the ad08's now ? Would you trust them in the wet ?
