my ek9 making a sound i cant put my finger on it

Hi guys some help needed here, when im drivin and i change through the gears there is a slap sound and its not the engine moving as the mounts are new and i have a torque damper, but when im sitting in my car and turning the wheel sharply from left to right there is a knocking sound could it be the steering column or somethin help me out lads!!!

Yeah I'd say CV joint, doesn't sound like a bearing.

have ya checked track rods/ outer tie rods?
the bracket that the torque damper is bolted to?
anti-rollbar bushes/links?
or could it be a balljoint on the front suspension?
