So I have neglected this build quite a bit since Autumn, but I have been away from home at University trying to do final year! Once I get my last January Exam out of the way next friday some more progress should be made to the shell and engine bay!
Over the past while I have been lifting a few bits and pieces. Aside from an o2 Sensor, DC5 power steering lines and an aux belt I think I have pretty much everything I need to get her started.
Below is my clutch and flywheel. The flywheel is really light, around 3.5 - 4 kilos I'd estimate and the clutch is a 3 puck ATS&ACROSS clutch. Its quite worn though so I may end up buying a new clutch plate!
I also put in an order with Hybrid Racing through 'Will' the NI rep for Hybrid Racing, excellent communication via him and at very competitive prices. from HR I picked up the following:
HR Kswap Rad Hoses ( upper and lower)
HR Fuel Rail in black
HR Rocker Cover Breather Filter
HR Induction Kit in black
As you can see below I also put in a small order to get an OEM Oil Filter, new OEM nuts and bolts for my Exhaust Mani and Inlet Mani for the K20, 12 stainless steel cable ties for when I heatwrap my manifold and an Exhaust Mani 2-piece gasket.
From Tegiwa I got their Kswap Rad hose insert along with the Temp Sensor and Fan Switch. Turnaround time was fantastic and commuication from them was spot on!
Along the way I also picked myself up a K-pro V3. Excited to have it bought. Now I dont have to worry about anything 'big cost' anymore lol.
I also got myself an Alloy dual core single length EK9 radiator and Slimline fan. I chose this over the full length as I felt it would probablly be overkill and this would be efficient for my needs! I will just relocate the existing Radiator mounts and get this mocked up soon enough. Could do with a bit of brasso but will come up like new
