I'm guessing you have never got really involved a lot with EKs Wassgood huh? :D Type-r-mad's EK9 is the 1997 E-EK9 and everything you see is stock except the yellow fog lights like he said. The link you have post shows an aftermarket lip. The 1998 GF-EK9 has a different face, in my opinion prettier than the pre-facelift's with different bumper, lights, and grill :nice:
 
in reply to above, both sort of wrong :), the blue civic is a facelift and on an ek9 that lip is standard, my car ain't an ek9 so all ive done to it has been an extra but if it were an ek9 it would be standard apart from the fogs, from the front anyway and mine is the prefacelift and comes with the lip fitted on my car :)
 
i love your car just one question what is the size of your wheel ?

I think yes.... my stock bumper on my EJ6 looks like that! you just need to add some lip and fog lights that you can buy sepperately.... here's my EJ6 pics when I first bought it....

Sorry but I still doubt that the lip on the blue EK is standard. I've seen many standard EKs and this is strange. Anyway, you have done very nice job and despite the missing stickers, I cannot see any non-EK9 sings!:nice:
 
the blue ek isnt an ek9 so all of that kit would have been an extra, but looks like a normal facelift lip to me lol, and in reply to above ej6.....if an ej6 is the ek coupe, yes, anything with the same front end will fit, al you would need is grille, lip, fogs. lights, and if its a prefacelift it will come with the same smoothed bumper as standard :)
 
i follow the same way
i have ej6 front bumper the front lip +phase 2 civic rear bumper and lip , the front grill
and now i have just to wait my new paint ^^

and can you answer my question what is your wheel and the size ?
 
type-r-mad - what was the insurance like on your ek4 ? i mean at 17, thats gotta be a lot?

Where abouts you located?

I'm looking to get an EK9 and notch it up to an EK9, more fun, less money, and you can mod it nicely whilst you get it looking EK9.

well......mine ain't an ek4 :p, its only an ej9 1.4, and insurance can still be a big steep, am in central scotland, i would have got an ek4 but a would be expecting to pay over 3k
 
seen this at fast and modified! deffinitly looks the part on the outside and lookin forward to the interior overhaul!! good job
