hi there, i'm new to this site, looks good i must say, thought i would post up pics of my ek civic, its been an ongoing project since august last year and it looked crap to be honest untill the biggest change....a respray, comments would welcome good or bad :)

started off looking like this....

welcome and wow! :wow: that's a big change.... how long did it took you for making those changes.... congrats mhen.. a very nice and clean car :D
 
kool thats wat i wanna do find a honda civic 1.4 white and turn it to ek9 replica cause i cant afford an ek9 :( how different is the original white on your car to the white on the ek9 white.
 
well i bought the car in august for £300 yes thats right £300 LOL, hpi clear and passed an mot after i put new lights on it, i went through a rice stage, i put angel eyes and a carbon vented hood on it and had plans of a buddyclub kit, but then changed my mind and wanted the ek9 look, so the ek9 look started around january, and £5000 later here's how it looks :D, another thing.....i'm only 17, not a bad 1st car eh? cheers.
 
in reply to above, its the standard artic white i got it done in, i was concidering champ white but i thought it would take the look off my wheels with them being too different whites, but now its done i think i made the right choice...more pics :), d2 coilovers came today and put some advan triangles on squint lol

woah! 17 ..... what else is your plann for your car?
 
well next up is tints which is booked in for next week, also alarm and exhaust, coilovers and H brace fitted, then later will be ek9 carpets rear seats, black interior, ek9/dc2 recaro's, then further down the line a bigger engine, if i have the money it will be a k20 then supercharge it, summit i've always wanted, a supercharged k20, they sound so good :)
 
What's your impression of the d2 coilovers? I'm planning in the future of getting a set :)

is it gonna be K20 type r or just a regular K20a3?
 
in reply to above, the quality of the d2's are good, there well built, and the concept of how you can lower it without altering the spring tension is a great idea, will give you a better answer next week when there on though lol

and i would be the k20 from the type r
 
it will still be good while till the engine will be getting touched but the interior will be soon, thanks :) more pics up soon. :D

rahhh 17 and u have that much to spend on a car u must be rich boy im 17 as well no honda yet well had 1 but sold it.

hey ..very nice car ... i love the transformation ... i am 19 and i love my black ek9 type r. k20 type r engine..supercharged that would be soooooo nice lollol. Good luck in everything you do. the car looks very nice!
 
hey this might be a noob question but.. how did you get your front end to be like that.. its different from the other eks
 
hi there, its just like an ek9 mate, ek9 front lip, ek9 front bumper, ek9 front lights, ek9 grille, only thing that makes it look different in the pics is no numberplate and the fog lights :)
