My Black Ek3 Vi Rs

Well lads,
This is my Ek3 Vi Rs
There isnt many black manual Vi Rs's around so thought id put it up on this :)
It has changed since i got it, alot of time and money went into and I love the car.
Im new to this and ill try my best haha :)

The car when I got it :)
When i was younger i seen it on donedeal and always wanted it :)

I got a new Jvc double den for it as the old touch screen one was broken

I then got an ek9 air box to tidy up engine bay



The car was parked up for a few months as i didnt have money to do it up as i had another car to sell which i did :)

So work on the car started
I sold the grids as i wasnt a great fan of them
I then stripped the front of the car to paint the front balance as it had surface rust on it
I sanded and primed it :)

Painted :)



I then bought some engine bay washers :)




When the painting was all done, then the parts started rolin in :D

A brand new bumper from Mcg



Jdm blue LCA's

Mugen lip and foam for behind the bumper :)

Kyb hardened shocks and Tein 55mil springs :)



Groved disks all round and ebc pads all round




The boot carpet was cut for a strut brace but someone removed it
So i got a strut brace, unknown brand, i carbon wraped the middle of it just for that look :)

I then bought a set of advans off my brother which i think look great on the car :)
bumper and lip on, shocks and springs in, breaks in



I then bought new jdm spotlights
tegiwa engine bay washers
A new manifold off Mcg
Rays wheel nuts
Got the front bumper, lip and back bumper proffesionally sprayed
Sprayed the rocker cover
Oem honda front molded mud flaps
Beaks bar
Steel pressed jap plates
Mugen strut brace
full set of mats

There is alot more im forgetting but ye get the point :D

ahh not atm :)
cant see my self selling it and its not worth my time selling it as iv the best of everything gone into it :D i just hope i get insurance on it :)

Lovely motor, Looked so much better on the Grids though. IMO
 
Welcome Iain, :) you need to bin that d15b now, ;) k swaped vi-rs would be unique :secret:
 
nice!i"ve got one too..mines JDM though..does yours come with the 3 stage D15B?
