depends if he is using the correct oil and if the diff is adjusted correctly! the diff has some adjustment to set the torque value that it engages at

for the amount of grip it gives it is worth the "clunk". i have purchased a brand new spoon diff to go into my k20 gearbox, they are THAT good :nice:
