So sold my Seat Leon and had a big notion for a Ae86 but just couldnt justify the price of them and couldnt get insured on one. So went and had a look at this standard ej9 that was local to me and bought it. Had a few doubts about the color of it at the start but its a sound base and very original. First Jap car and im very happy with it, lovely little car to drive - fun for what it is too!

The plans for this new project is a USDM/HellaFlush look.
List is as follows including parts bought and fitted:

Facelift ek9 front lip - Done
Civic Jordan Rear lip - Done
Ek9 Wing including baseplate - Done
Spoon Replica Carbon mirrors - Yet to be fitted
XXR 501s - 15x8 ET-0 with 175/50/15 Khumos allround - Done
Vmaxx Coilovers - Done
Yellow Fogs + Grills - Done
Momo Team 280mm Steering wheel - Done
Lamin X Subtle Smoke for the headlights - Same look as darkend headlights without the pricetag - Done
3.5" Backbox of some sort - Not really fussed on make etc, just something to tidy the back of the car up and fill the recess
Dc2 Rear Bench
Recaros - But with a custom retrim + matching carpets and door cards...
Few other small bits but thats all i can think of for now....

Still on the "To Do" list :

Go slightly lower now i have the clearance
Get Ajustable LCAs
Maybe change the Ek9 Wing as im not sure of it.

Comments good/bad welcome - Constructive critisim preferred. :)

Car looks good!!

Really like the 1st Lowered picture, and the tyre stretch!
 
Your old car looked good, and so does this , i say paint the centers of your wheels the same colour as the car:nerv:

Also are they real spoon mirrors? if so sell them to me:bow:
 
Very nice mate. I was the same when i got my ej9 in the same colour. I was not sure on it at first but really like the colour now :clap:
 
As said on jon44 it looks lethal. must get in town some weekend and get some photos of a few local civics together! bloody loads of them! lol.

Thanks fella, the stretch looks a tad extreme but its the big lip on the rims that makes it look worse than it is lol...

I was toying with the idea of painting the centres of them Bright Pink but i think ill stay with the gunmetal centres for now. Ties in with a few things, will also match the spoon mirrors when i get them on. Thanks

Cheers dude, know your ek9 now. Towns full of them surely, future photoshoot will definitley be needed :nice:

cool wee car,had one in same colour did the same with grill and had them fogs in aswell good job so far,any engine swap plans?
 
there is a usdm grill on ebay if your looking for one,

lol still in 2 minds at the minute weather to change it for the spoon spoiler.. Thanks dude

Cheers lad... Ideally a B18C at the beginning of next year... Maybe a bay tuck to with it!
