Wasnt sure wether this was suitable for here or suspension thread.

So.

Had the mugen rear brace installed since it was imported from Japan in 2007, however, the lovely Japanese Citizen that installed the brace made a right hash of cutting the plastics to make it fit :(

What has anyone else done to combat this problem ?? Anywayy of hiding the holes ?? hit me with some idea's please :(

and yes i'm keeping the brace... (pics to follow)

HELP PLEASE

Exactly the sane crack with mine, one side is mullerd to feck, the other is neat, obviously the rocket scientist that did it realised the way after the first one went wrong lol i just cut them both evenly with a dremel so they are the same both sides. It dosnt look as good than with a large cut out, but it makes it easy to adjust your dampers on the go without having to remove the speakers etc...

Hmm yeh, will probably neaten then up.

might make a cover template out of cardboard.. and see if i have any friends in the know. maybe make some removable covers?

i was just wondering what other people had done really...

You could always get some replacements and start again. Facelift ek4 ones are in the same black finish.

Mugen used to supply this edging stuff and a template with there rear strut braces. You could probably find something similar in a DIY store

I wish there was something like that so as not to reduce the capacity of the trunk. Especially in the 4 door civics.

This is a rear bar to toyota starlet gt.

Or something like this found on imprezas

Doesn't look so bad..just smooth out the rough edges and add the rubber trim (like the moogen example) good luck w/ it
