mugen airbox fitting on eg

hows things lads went at fitting my mugen airbox today went down the side of the gearbox mount fine an was sitting perfect only problem is when i close the bonnet its raising my carbon bonnet about an inch and a half anyone know what i can do?

That's strange, I fitted a mugen airbox from a dc2 to my eg and apartt from being a fiddlt bugger it was good fit. Is the box and intake trumpet definitely seated right? Was tight squeeze but once in all was good.

Anyone know difference between this two airbox?

the only difference its velocity stack pipe, one of them its more lenght...

may the first one from dc2 without abs?
