Mugen active gate brakes

anyone used these or know much about this kit?

Done a search and as far as i can see; it simply cools the brakes better....
cant even find out if the discs and pads are larger than stock but it does say that 16" wheels have to be used.

disc size is larger. Uses the caliper from an S2000

Effective braking system, but hardly worth the cost in my opinion. Exceptionally heavy setup.

Mugen also admitted that although the S2000 caliper is not as effective as the Ek9's ( i think 13% less ) it is lighter than the Ek9's. I'm not sure how the weight of the two discs compare though.
