first of all i know this is in the wrong place but ive searched the forums and cant get a conclusive answer and ive been up since 3 am this morning and im to tierd to figure things out. basically im servicing my ek4 vti tomorrow and i have a couple of questions regarding a few things.

1. engine oil grade and how much of it previous owner had used motul fully synthetic but i wont be able to get hold of it at short notice and i cant see the point spending extra cash for fully syn. Daily driver and frequent hard road driving

2. MTF how much for a drain and replace and which grade for a non lsd box on my car s40 gearbox seems to ring a bell but cant be sure

3. any particular spark plugs recomended i usualy use NGK-R in my bikes

i think thats everything sorry for posting hear just wanted a quick answer then i can go to bed

(simple staight forward answers please :nice: )

Engine oil: 3.8 litres for a full change. 10w 40 will be fine but get a good brand of oil
gear box oil: 2 litres should be enough.
Plugs. NGK Bkr6e-11 or BKR7E-11 for the vti.

If you can wait I can get you all the parts by tuesday.

2.2L

2.5 is too much

with the car sitting flat fill the fill plug until it starts to drip out a bit

Thats exactly the way I did mine and it took around 2.4L with the car jacked up level and the fluid was just starting to run out. I don't think that 200ml extra would do any harm

The service manual says 2.2 liter MTF oil.
Engine oil 4 liter is enough
and as simauto said spark plugs NGK BKR6E-11 or BKR67E-11 (in summer) is good.

btw. what is the difference between the MTF2 and MTF3?
