Mtec Discs

Anyone ever used the Mtec discs Freakyparts offer? Got a price for them along with Ferodo ds2500 pads and for vented discs they seem very cheap in terms of price

They're good just don't buy the black edition from what i heard, Ally 138 had a bad experience with them, something along the lines of the pint sticking to the pads

Yeah I think I read about the black coated discs,possibly from a post of his. Would just be the plain silver grooved discs. Glad to hear theyre good discs though,think I might go for them

Yeah, I thought they would look good where the grooved bits would have been left black after usage. But instead the paint has just stuck onto the brakes and makes a funny noise. There's still a bit of paint to rub off and after that, gonna take it back to automek to give the pads a wee clean. Not saying to not go with mtec, but don't go for the black edition ones.

Cheers for the first hand info mate! I won't be going for the painted discs thats for sure. Will just be the normal grooved discs I think
