Right guys was driving home from work today. Not to long of a distance. 20 miles or so. About half ways home i came to a junction. Took off and put her thru vtec in first or second gear. Not reddening her or anything but after that i notice a slight sputtering. At this point car still driving. Slower but could still drive on a bit. Got home popped the bonnet didn't notice any strange knocking or tapping sounds. You can only hear the sputtering thru the exhaust and she is idling around 500 I'm not sure what this might be?

My engine is very healthy no smoke and not burning much oil so which is why i don't think its a misfire. This might not even be greatly related to a misfire.

Other stuff crossing my mind is the today is a seriously wet day/damp so maybe a electrical fault over dampness.

Searched my problem i saw related questions and a lot of the time its the dizzy. Think my problem is kinda different to the questions i found tho.

So any help at all would be great,
Thanks:nono:

I had a misfiring issue , changed the dizzy that didnt cure it suck in new plugs an it was sweet as !!

If its just that I would be over the moon. Funny enough went to do the plugs last night but didn't have the correct socket :(

my plugs were in pretty bad shape , who knows its worth a try .

Right fellas. Car sorted today with the advise of a wise prelude owner ha. It was a ht lead problem. Disconnected the each lead and what ever one didn't make a difference was it obviously.
