Recently purchased my third Honda from a friend of mine who bought the car as a project and has accomplished absolutely nothing with it since October.
The current project is a '96 Midori hatch (original Midori!), brought up to Michigan from Florida last October. Overall it's a very clean starting point, mint interior, and most of the body is in very good shape aside from paint. The car has a '99-00 front end on it which is still unpainted, has one light dent on the passenger rear quarter, and a little bit of paint missing from the hatch and rear bumper. Currently working on acquiring all the missing bits and pieces for the B16A swap I got with the car, and am hoping to have the car running under it's own power in about 2 weeks. Paint and body work will be taken care of by my brother's father-in-law and myself once the mechanical bits are all sorted, and with a fresh coat of Midori Green and the carbon hood I got with the car it should be looking better than ever. Look for a build thread soon!
I handle the detailing at the Lotus/Morgan dealership here in Michigan, and my other car is a '95 Miata on near race suspension and Bridgestone RE-11s, I'm very much a handling whore and rarely do anything half way, so you can expect good things from the revival of this one!
