I've purchased the full brake conversion from an mb6 for my del sol build. Just a few areas I'm unsure of and wondering anybody on here can shed some light. The car is a 97 del sol esi.

1. Will I need the trailing arm off the mb6 or can i simply swap over the wheel bearing/hub.

2. Will the D16y8 driveshaft fit in the front hub of the mb6?

Any ideas or info would be much appreciated :nice:

Is it a rear disk car already? If not, you''l need the full RTA.

The driveshaft will fit, D and B series driveshafts have the same spline pattern on them :)

Yeah it's discs on the rear already. I was just under the impression the rear stub axle was longer on the mb6 compared to an EK chassis causing a few issues. Del sol is based on an eg chassis so hopefully I'll just be able to swap the hub as you say

Awesome should be an easy cost effective conversion then, thank for the info mate :nice:

Yeah the track width on MB6 is wider so that might be an issue come to think about it! Swapping the RTA over is easy enough though!

No problem dude :)
