ive got a ek4 and im in the middle of buying bits to upgrade the front brakes to a 282mm conversion.
but ive been told i will need a 1inch master cylnder so the pedal travel will feel good.
question is im asking, will the ek9 fit or a itr one?
someone said ill need the 1inch cylinder?
any help would be apreciated ppl

I have an ej9 with b16 engine and i believe i am running a 1" master cylinder from an integra (non abs model). Dont know if it matters but i wanted to be sure

they will both fit, not essential with 282 upgrade but will greatly improve pedal feel and inspires more confidence in brakes mentally

cheers for the help ppl,i ended up buyin a 1" master cylinder of civiclife from a guy who had it on a 1.8 mb6 vti,so hopefully no probs.
apart from anything i only want this so i have a good pedal feel,as i hate sloppy pedal travel

mb8 master needs little work with brake pipes to make it fit on ek4 i beleive

i think connections are different size but not 100%, youll see when fitting it

cheers bud for the heads up,but luckily ive got a mate who works for kwik fit who has offered to fit them,so hopefully he will be able to sort them out.will it be worth just fitting new lineswith new fittings while its getting done rather than bodging it dya reckon?

im not sure what actually needs doing but if garage doing it sure theyll sort no problem

let us know exactly what does need doing as good reference for future

Next week 1" itr master cylinder and servo will arrive to me.
I do some check with mine.

just out of curiosity,if the mb6 m/c wont fit at all,how much is a itr m/c gonna set me back?ive seen some on ebay going for around 100quid,but some are from a older spec and some are from a newer spec itr.
what age itr should i buy one from if it comes to it?
