Manifold opinions ??

these two new manifolds on eBay 4-2-1 and a 4-1. What would be the best one? Or would I be better with a second hand decent brand one ?

I would've thought a 2nd hand decent condition branded one would be good. I know a tegiwa 4-2-1 toda rep has proven gains supposedly and most top brands are decent. Unbranded ebay ones I'm not sure.

the ebay ones are poor quality and will eventually look crap, plus they usually make the car sound like a subaru due to different length pipes.

Personally id never use one again, buy something decent like a mugen, fgk, 5zigen etc etc... if you keep it in good condition you can usually sell it for what you paid for it.

Ive got a tegiwank toda rep and its ok, shame they couldnt weld the mounting bracket in the right place though ( and then try to charge you for a bracket to correct the problem )

Yea, I Was looking for tegiwa or the likes but no one seems to have anything I'm after. I want something that's as close to new as possiable and top brands tho so not easy found. Then looked at them two and wondered if they would be worth a go ? Undecided

5 years ago I got a eBay one for a 1.4 civic I had and it was a good job for the few months I got to use it. Didn't get to see how it done for more than a few months tho so not sure.

That's mine but not sure if I want to go down the turbo root with the civic I have as it has 40,000 miles so I'm two minds

Super sprint manifolds work well. Had one on the crx before I turbo'd it. It was a 4-2-1

its a good manifold except for the mounting bracket issue but think they have fixed this now on the newer ones

someone i know maybe selling a JASMA approved manifold soon, not sure what make it is yet but it will be something along the lines of mugen, 5zigen etc...
