I'm just curious as to How many times you can change the car on your policy if that makes sense! It is unlimited isn't it? To a certain extent!

It doesn't say nothing in my policy just curious that's all do you have to have a certain at a certain time to change it? Sure you do!

Thanks for the reply though mate!

You can change it as much as you want but they will charge you admission and paper work each time.

I changed my car October time and they only charge me for how much more the new car wa to insure said nothing about admin fees etc and it was cheaper than any other quote I got even if it was including fees!

As much as you want but they will charge you each time you make a change.

Most I've ever had was 3 cars during 1 policy... First time they did not charge me, second time I was changing the car they did, I guess it either depends who you talk to or they just give you one free courtesy change... But yes, I was going from a 1.2 Ibiza to EK3 and they charged me a lot less than what they would have if I was buying a new policy for EK3, funny how this whole insurance works!

I do my insurance on line without phoning my company and they do not charge. Just email my my new documents or any changes due to the car being more or less the insure :nice:

Yes or even a fax, once they receive it your insured even if they didnt do the paper work, ive done this on a saturday night to change over cars and it was grand

But you do get charged obviously if the car costs more than you current car to insure? Just not the admin fees etc?

I only done it a few times to change the car over for a few days at a time, im not sure how it works changing a car over for good but im sure they would ring or send you a letter saying if the policy price has went up
