hey need help extended lug nut on standard ek9 wheels. im thinking of geting them is it worth geting someone pls give me an advise.or what to get

i think they look cool on most wheels !

using extended studs or not you can still fit extended lug nuts and the only function i can imagine is that you can remove them more easy from the wheel.

if you using oem honda wheels you need different lug nuts!! as the aftermarket ones uses different pattern you can search here as there was a lot of people asking about these.

you can and you cant

oe honda bolts are round at the bottom and the honda OE wheels are rounded also where the bolts tightens upto

aftermarket wheels are tapered and therefore most aftermarket wheel bolts are also tapered

so if you put aftermarket botls on OE wheel there isnt much holding the wheel on and they would need to be tightened regularly

tegiwa do coloured wheel bolts that fit on OE wheels

even though these are bolts the principals the same

the first two are tapered and the last is like honda OE (rounded)

thanks for that mate im planing on geting blox extended lug nut would this be ok or you consider it not safe as they would need to be tighten regularly

no you dont understand

if you are using OE wheels then the nut recess will be rounded like the OE nuts

whereas the nut recess on aftermarket wheels are tapered

so an easy guide is like this:

The good: (enough contact surface area between nuts and wheels)
aftermarket wheel is good with aftermarket nuts.
OEM wheel is good with OEM nuts.

The bad: (not enough? although i never see any hard evidence of failures)
aftermarket wheels arent good with OEM nuts.
OEM wheels arent good with aftermarket nuts.

Why?
just as leek9 said. tapered design on aftermarket, round design on OEM.
