LSD Locking on Please Help !

Hi Lads

Il explain the problem i have as best i can.

I have a S9B gearbox with a LSD and thismoring when taking a few corners i know well flat out it felt like the brakes came on at around 7k RPM.

The revs were building normally felt the LSD start working its magic then boom all power stoped to the wheels and the revs stoped bulding as i came out of the corner and back on the straight the revs started building and power came back to thw wheels.

I kept my foot flat to the floor and like i said it was like the brakes came on. Not nice when your flat out on a slip road.

Anyone know what might be up ?

I dont a trans fluid change about 7k ago and was going to do it in a week or so if no one knows i can see if that affects it.

Hope to god my LSD isnt shagged
 
firstly, are you sure your oil level is not low and your dropping out of vtec whilst cornering?


is there any noise coming from the transmission when you get this braking?
 
No noise from the transmission Olly and TBH havnt checked my oil for a week so could be it does burn a wee bit if its being thrashed.

Check the oil when i get home and let you know the crack.

Cheers mate got a funny feeling its the engine dropping out of VTEC as i was going to change the oil next week. Burns around a Litre per 6k with mixed driving is that something to worry about ?
 
i have had this happen to me...feels like everything has cut out..changed the oil the next day as the level was very low for some reason and all been perfect ever since
