Anyone got any info/scale on what jobs have the highest and lowest risk attributed to them? Don't want to do anything dodgey just curious as I work in an office is that classed as low risk?

Farmer was exceptionally low on my policy compared to farm manager or farm labourer. Don't be a builder though because that was alot!

roofer is high risk when i got a quote from an insurance company it was higher because of this and being self employed does'nt help!

Just say your unemployed, you'll probably get your insurance paid for you know this government :angry2:

anything to do with the motor trade and your screwed! and your not applicable to drive other cars on a fully comp policy!

working on a liscenced premesis (bar work, chef etc) is also classed as high risk so i've been told

Some one told me recently that putting full time voluntary work get a fair reduction (15-20%). Hope thats true cos 25% of my work is voluntary

Mine went down like £2  when i changed it from Electrician to Electrical Engineer. Im technically both so it doesnt matter

im sure i remember someone telling me a librarian is the best occupation for cheap car insurance lol

Nurse or anything to do with the NHS brings it down ive been told.

They'll be ****ed if they work at the Edinburgh royal infirmary as the parking costs for staff there are a joke. They'll be worse off.

Don't want to do anything in the gaming industry either.

Working as a trader for a bookies is a big no-no

also found that if you in the police you can get discount about to 25% not tried this one though lol at the moment im using a banker lol

My girlfriend works for the Police...not in the police...i stuck her on the Policy on my Jordan and got £115 off....

still didnt tell her tho haha :secret:
