hi guys, soon to be getting a ek9 and am planning ahead slightly. i had a jordan before but it was so low and hard it was abit much. pretty sure it was bout 80-90mm lower then standard. what is an ideal amount to lower an ek9 to keep the looks, handling etc. also im guessing wheel size matters? ill be chnaging the standard alloys but havent thought anout a size to go to? any help please guys.

To be honest, there are recommended suspension set ups in terms of quality however, recommending it for handling really depends on your driving style, what it's going to be used for and what other mods have been done to the car. Eibachs too quite well and are pretty good quality. However, you have to think that tyre quality, alloy weights, power modifications, driver weight, internal weights, body rigidness etc all account for handling characteristics. I'd recommend possibly going shotgun in someone elses EK and seeing how it feels then base it around that.

i don't plan on using it to compete or anything. just road use. but i see some slammed with wheels in arches but would rather fill the arches abit more. i guess as long as i buy coilovers i can try and change it.

Please don't "stance" an EK9, it's pretty much killing the Type R name.

Leave it as it is & enjoy some track days, that's what they are for!

As much as i love originality. Lows is a must to me to get that bit extra out of the car. Personally i think it makes a huge difference in appearance as well. Love the lowered look.
