Ok ive currently got a ek3 prefacelift with a b18c6 conversion. What loom do i have?

Ive been told to swap the engine to a facelift 1.4 Ej9. I need to get different loom again to the one i already have to run the b18 in a ek3.

Which loom do i have? how much is it worth? and what loom do i need? Thanks.
Where would i be able to source it also?

I really dont see why i cant use the current engine loom?
its not like i have to change interior loom is it? so dont see why./

Ahh no sorry might not have made myself clear. Basically i have a 96 ek3 with b18c6, the shell has gotten rusty and looking to re-shell but swapping the b18 engine into a facelift civic apparently i need different engine loom.

Ah right, Are you using an OBD2a ECU? OBD2a ECUs take all three plugs from the engine loom but the OBD2b ECUs take one connector from the interior loom (see links). If you were to use the OBD2a loom with the OBD2a ECU the interior plug from the OBD2b interior loom would be left with nowhere to go and I dont think it would work properly. Your best bet is probably OBD2B ECU with a OBD2a-OBD2b jumper harness if you didnt want to spend on an OBD2b loom (silly money)

Well at the moment im running a p73 jdm ecu and a UK spec b18c6. So im guessing i have prefacelift loom? which is 0b2a isnt it?

you can either modify the ej9 engine loom by changing the iacv plug/wiring and adding the wires and plugs for vtec or you can buy a facelift vtec loom.

obd2a and obd2b are wired differently they aren't interchangeable

Thanks andy. So the if i buy facelift loom itll still plug into my ecu fine?

So confusing haha what other ecu could i possibly use to run the b18c6 though? p73 ecu.
have to get a harness?

facelift ek4/ek9 loom? and some sort of conversion harness to fit on the Ecu?
