Hi guys need some help :) I've got a set Jordan dials (ek4) on my Ek, I want to be able to see the needles which are red while I'm driving at night cos at the moment it's really dull and I can't hardly see the needles! Do I need to change my bulbs to ek9 ones? And if so where would I be able to get it from and will the bulbs fit?

Cheers

Khaled

Sounds like you either have a bulb out or yours have lost strength over time. You could try fitting some new ones in first and seeing how it goes + I doubt ek9's have different bulbs.

Cheers bikerben I've jus taken them off and looked at all the bulbs a couple have darken and one has blown so I've jus replaced the blown one not to sure where I can get replacements for the darkened smaller ones :s halfords don't have them! any idea minus Honda as ive heard they charge silly! lol

I had hard time finding the right ones, ended up buying them of the ebay, but dials are still not lit up as good as I wanted them

On the Civic Forum there is a seller called underground sounds (or summit similar) he is really good for LED's and knows what you will need - I've ordered two lots of LED's from him for my map lights and rear number plate lights and both were cheap and came very quickly - simples!

Which forum you talkin about bikerben? Civiclife or hindacivicforun ..., may give the guy a pm if my lights ain't working in good order but I'll have to see until it gets dark I guess :) can u exactly find out the guys name please :)

Thanks for help guys much appreciated :)

I'm in the same boat as you mate. I cant see my fuel/temp gauge a night time lol

How hard is it to remove and dismantle/assemble the dials?

It's simple there is 2 screws which is on the top of the black housing once u have taken that off bare in mind there is two clips on the bottom which u will need to unclup and remove carefully! u will then have 2 screws holding the cluster togther so take them off and then unplug the plugs that are attacthed to the cluster ! then simply replace the bulbs that have worn out but The hard part is finding the parts lol there shud be 14 all together if I remember correctly :)
