That is TREMENDOUS! Love it! Iv just been getting a lightened fly for mine and a few other toys looking forward to getting them fitted. Did you find that the fly made much difference? if so what?

I dont know for sure, but stroking it should give identical results! I mean a B18c is effectively a B16b with different internals?

If some *guru* could clear this up for us?

shes fair fast laddy, dya have a mugen ecu for a b16 or b18?
its a P73 with a mugen chip i think,

TBH id rather the vtec up at 6 where its supposed to be

got it dyno'd lasty year at 174.8 at the wheels so would be looking a wee bit over 200 at the fly

i didnt notice much apart form the high end engine velocity, engine spins up very fast but would ideally want to put an uprated clutch to clamp the flywheel better, its not essential but im sorry i didnt do it now

the block are the same apart from the B16B's higher compression pistons and the B16B heads are hand ported and polished and the cams are more agressive

I remember you said in your last video that at 60mph the engine is at around 4500rpm......what is the rpm when traveling at 70mph or 120kph ie motor way traveling speed?

Must be a killer on fuel...

using a s80 integra box with 4.928 FD

s80 box is the same ratio's as a S4C ek9 box

at 100kph it sits and just under 4000RPM
 
what you should do is get yourself a vafc and set the vtec back up at 6200 rpm!

LEE... i have the exact same ecu set up as u . I don't like the 5k vtec point.. at the dyno the actual peak in torque is at 6k... so now its like vtec "noise" 1st then vtec "lunge" later..... feels weird.

my car got 172 whp and 16.6 kg of torque...
but ur car seems to pull hell of a lot faster....
congrats man...

yea i hate the fact that you hear the vtec and then feel it 500 revs after :angry:
