I have a mate who works in Koni Ireland and he said he can get me fully adjustable coilovers for about €300. I was thinking of getting them for the ek rather than rebiulding my D2's. Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with them, what you think of them, are they ok for road use and what spring rating etc. any info appreciated

What model are you considering? I absolutely love my Koni Yellow/Ground control coilovers. Top notch quality and customer support. My spring rates are still for the street, F/6.8k & R/6.3k. The shocks can be re-valved to suit any spring rate too, and I will be doing this when I decide I need to up the spring rates. They cost me ~$850.

i have koni shocks in my car with spoon lowering springs, i find the shocks very hard but they work very well in corners and flat roads :)

in no they're not the coilovers just given input :)

I had Koni springs (with stock dampers) in my EK4 VTi but I didn't like them.
The was too low in front and too high in rear. The car looked like as if kicked ass.:)

guys, shock/spring set up and coilover are different story, even tho they are from the same company, u cant really compare them....
