Kanjo


I'm doing it more to be different if I'm honest, plus I like the no nonsense style these kanjo cars have.
Also my 9 isn't in the best condition on the outside(yet), so doing this kind of takes the attention away from the probably less than average paintwork lol
Also gives me a reason to bring my DIY splitter along lol

You can almost regard jesse doing it as a recognition statement to true kanjo racers.. Personally i think its **** hot.

tuned jap car's especially civic's need to step away from this show industry, camber, dub rims, low as **** stupid stuff .... And get back to their roots, and kanjo is certainly one of the roots that stands out :d ...

Im serious. I might copy some other faddy crap like a 2ft long rear view mirror - so everybody knows I have no imagination..
 
Faddy crap would mean everyone else doing it. Or is that a "craze"?
If I'm going to take **** for it not much point doing it. Waste of cash and effort that I can plow into a trackday with or something

The reason some of these kanjo racers use wide mirrors are not for fashion buddy, its so they dont run into each other when racing. No time to look over a shoulder at the speeds these crazy mofo's run at on public roads.

Now you have a point about hard parking folks, not necessary in these cases. But if a person is mimicking a kanjo style to gain "points" why should you care?

I guess I am not understanding what point you are making.
 
NO issues with the Japs doing it at all, they started it all. But why imitate them? soon enough some people over will think they are street racers like these Japs and give performance hatchback owners an even worse name.
