did u get them from cda. what stopped u going for the vttr's.

are you running stock size discs ?

ek9 stock brake system is very good from factory, project mu is also very good and is a brilliant step up, stoptech seems very good as well and they offer very good info and help apparently

prelude caliper upgrade (single poston but slightly larger than dc2) pr nsx (twin pot design) is common upgrade for 9 owners and improves breaking that little bit more (considerably noticeable as well)

blinx ill tell you hoe they feel after bedding them in,they will be fully bedded in by next sunday:nice:

yea crazy eyes get them from couture,i didnt even know i had project mu brakes until today lol not going with the vttr because with research i think the stoptech are a step ahead....

still running stock size discs lads yea,and stock calipers, they are fine

Nice upgrade, hope to read the results :D

i think there axxis pads, a mate of mine has them on his levin and thinks there great but there is alot of break dust

I'm so late on this one, but a proper bed-in procedure should not take more than a few minutes. Although it is different for every brake pad, generally it consists of a sucession of hard stops from 60 to 10 mph until a sufficient pad transfer layer develops. Then you let the brakes cool by driving and not stopping.

i thought bedding in the brakes was totally the opposite... braking softly in longer intervals..! for a certain period :D

bedding in brakes you should drive quite easy for about 50 miles then about 10 hard stops from 60 to about 20 (do not stop completely though!!!) drive around to let the brakes cool and then another set of stops, cool , and brakes should be immense

if you bed brakes in like that rite away 60-10mph you will put far to much sudden heat into them and wharp the disc causing brake shudder. u will have a good feel for them after a few gentel stops. like said soft braking for about 50 miles then build it up
