Hey everyone. I just picked up a ek hatch for $1500 as a project car. I'm will be having some down time soon because I am about to paint my eg hatch. But I will have more than enough time to start working on it in late June. So I'm here to say hi and I am looking forward on working on it and getting some opinions for small questions to general help if I have any problems.
Mods/the ugly stuff
Some off-brand lowering-springs
Missing a bunch of small stuff (Corner lights sockets, roof trim, driver side pillar, sideskirts, hood puller from inside)
D16Y7 motor with an OBD1 intake (yikes!)
No condensor, the guy smashed the heater inlet hose port on firewall(Why??)
No A/C
No P/S
The kid cut the factory radio harness and left the wires sitting there.
The kid sprayed it in flat black and it needs a lot of body work (It turns out the factory paint code is that of what I just bought two gallons of for my eg. It's NH-583M Vouge Silver Metallic. I'm going to save a gallon and do the bodywork and spray the ek back to it's orginal color!

No title! The kid I bought it from bought it from a guy. Now the kid was driving this guy two days after he bought the car from him to go get the title at the guys house. They got into a wreck and the guy you owned it died. Now the kid searched his stuff and couldn't find it. (Now I don't really believe this story but me and my dad are working on a way to get the title redone somehow....)
