just a quick question lads....

hi have an ek9, some times when i go to start her up hot or cold it turns over as if the battery is flat or dead? and its not the battery is fine... other times then it will start first time no problem?

could it be battery related tho? wires loose going to the starter?

any quick way of checking man? just for piece of mind

if its slow cranking or fails give it a tap with a hammer and if it frees, its the starter sticking. does the fault just come and go? is the car a daily drive?

Some times it would take 5 turns to get it started other times would only take 1... Yeah daily driver. Has been parked up 2 months tho

What about the dizzy it could be that but replace the starter first see if that sorts it

check your earths as well and make sure battery terminals are tight

Check the connections on the starter solenoid to see if they've come loose. If there fine then It's most likely the starter on it's way out.
