Jordan No. 291 - track project

Hi guys i thought i'd do a quick buold theead on my progress so far

So two weeks ago i purchased a 2000 V reg Honda Civic Jordan, build number 291, managed to get it at a steal as it needed a few bits doing. Light work for myself but the previous owner had no mechanical knowledge.

Here is a couple of snaps of the car the day i got it home;

Then i gave it a full service at work last weekend, just got the cambelt and valvw clearances left to do

So next up i set about removing the interior parts that i didnt need, i'll let the pictures do the talking on this one!

Yeah thats next weeks plan mate, i've heard its a bit of a job to do though?! And obviously the seat will be gone too, its just in so i can drive it for the time being

Hmm im tempted to bin my ek9 door cards too, are they heavy?

They dont weigh very much on a Jordan on their own, but the speakers are screwed into them so with the complete door assembly its a fair bit

Update:
Forgot to add the other day i had a gift in the post...

Makes one hell of a difference to the handling!

Then tonight i set about trying to figure out how im going to create rails for the bucket seats to sit on, so i stripped the seat down to just the rails, now i just have to measure from the rail fixings to make a bracket to fit a bucket seat

Also ordered alot of parts today, so many pictures to follow next week

lovely jordan, having owned two jordans before and know how rare they are getting i wouldnt track it personally will be worth a fair bit when more become written off but everyone to their own
