Words cant say how brilliant and genuine Jimbob (James) really is!

He did an engine swap (last weekend) on my EJ9 from a D14 to a B18C4 as he mentioned it was his first time to swap a d-series engine to a b-series, not much of a hassle straight in with the work, which he'd done a very brilliant job, aswell on learning things whilst goin through what he did, he also blead my brakes & converted them to bigger ones, blead my clutch, did a oil change, changed my spark plugs and changed the oil filter, all at an excellent & very reasonable price, Also all running very smooth. Checked everything once more before i took my car :nice::drive:

Jimbob is a Top, genuine, trustworthy guy to deal with, I would deffinatly highly recommend anyone to him who needs an engine swap or any work that needs doing, as his work is just astonishing. Very proud & happy for what he has done, great to meet his folks too.

Just had a full service + timing belt and water pump change off James, what a guy! Great price and a top job with the work done...can't fault him one bit!

Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any work doing :nice:

just got back from james house. he sorted me out a gearbox for my jordan got it in no problem top fella. tuk me out for a lil spin in his ek9 nearly killed me lol gota say tho i need a ek9 in my life hahah.would recommend him to any one really knows wot he is doin thanks.
 
got an inlet manifold off jimbob couldn't have been more help if he tried thanks again mate, buy with confidence
 
just like to say brillaint to work with bought a ek engine loom deliverd very fast and the product was in brillaint condiction thanks agen will use agen if there is anything else i need
 
got bc coilovers, very good lad to deal with and packaging and delivery service was first class also;)
 
Bought Apexi N1 off James, Good guy, fast delivery, packaged well.. would recommend to anyone. Cheers again Bud :D
 
B18 Swap

Was with James yesterday getting a B18C6 engine swapped into my EK9. It was an absolutely brilliant service drive in / drive out. James even collected the engine from the guy I bought it from the night before so all would be good to go when I arrived at the back of 9 am. James started work on the car within minutes of arrival, had a real good methodology going too. Job was all finished by 6pm including dealing with some seized bolts etc.. Car started immediately on first turn of the key.

Thanks to Sam another EK9 owner on here who also who helped get the car out the door. Got to thank James's mum for the cheese toasties and supply of tea through the day.

All in all was a fantastic job and thanks again, I cant recommend James highly enough.

bin up to jimbobs today to have some work carryed out great guy defo ring or pm if ur in the north west guys
list of work carried out
timing belt and tenioner fitted
removal of air con and piping
oil and filter changed

going back next week for
oil cooler fitted
valve clearance reset
thermostat swaped
torque mounts fitted and other bits n bobs lol
