Here I have for sale my 52 plate JDM Championship White Civic Type R.

If you are unaware of the extras the JDM cars have over the UK cars, here's a quick spec.

- Champsionship White paintwork exclusive to JDM models
- Recaro Corporation reclining seats
- Leather 3 spoke steering wheel by MOMO
- Red Type R floor mats & door lining
- U.K. Emblem (fitted to the rear as the cars are built in the UK, then shipped to Japan)
- HID headlight (high / low beam)
- Electric folding mirrors
- Privacy glass (rear quarter / tail gate)
- Climate Control/Air Conditioning
- Thicker front and rear anti roll bars
- Torque response type helical LSD

The JDM engine has an uprated engine containing JDM springs, valves, pistons etc plus it does indeed have a smaller cat.
Different gear ratios and mapping in the Japanese car, along with a different intake and exhaust manifolds as well. JDM engines produce 220bhp.

I had the car imported in July 2007 for me by a highly respected Japanese performance car importer, who also imported my previous car, a 1997 JDM EK9 Civic Type R.

The car has covered 26,000 miles, and is converted to read MPH on the speedometer.

Mot'd to June 2008, Tax'd to January 2008.

The red Recaro seats are in mint condition with no rips burns or tears, as is the rest of the interior, it can only be described as new. It also has the original Honda Gathers CD player fitted. Since importing the car I have had a Meta CAT1 alarm and immobiliser fitted at a cost of £350.

The bodywork is absolutely gleaming, and flawless except for a tiny mark on the lower left of the rear bumper, which isn't noticeable unless being pointed out to you, I am just being honest! The wheels are in very very good condition, 2 wheels have very minor scuffs, around 1" long, which again arent noticeable (I'm really picky and even I haven't bothered with them). The Type R calipers have been painted red to match the interior and Type R details.

Engine/brakes/gearbox etc are all perfect, the car drives as new. When the car was imported the oil and filter were changed with a Honda filter and Mobil fully synthetic oil. The engine mount inserts have been replaced as the rear one was perished. I also had 4 new Toyo T1-R 205/45/17" tyres fitted in August costing £350.

The car has always been run on Shell V-Power 99 ron fuel.

You'd struggle to find a UK Civic Type R in this condition, let alone the rare and desirable JDM model like this in this condition. I have all the import documents etc to prove, any inspection welcome, any questions feel free to phone me. Thanks.

Car is located in Ayrshire, near Glasgow, Scotland.

£11,000.

Nice:nice: Good luck with the sale dude. I'm not a big fan of ep3s, but when I saw one of these jdm versions at the garage I went to check a couple of ek9s at, they look amazing:)

Hey buddy can i ask why you are selling it? I am not far from yourself i stay in the SouthSide of Glasgow not far from Braehead!

Also can i ask who you insure with and what the cars insured under? (Civic Type R - Imort????)

Sorry about all the questions but it would be helpful!

i'm insured with elephant, its under a type r import.

i'm selling it because...i'm going to court of a driving issue, i may get banned, i might not, but i've decided to sell the car just now, if i dont get banned, i'm getting a supra or something similar, if i get banned, the bus :(

Aw sorry to hear mate, yeah i thought it was the Type R (Import) im only 21 and got a quote for the normal EP3 and it was like 800 notes when i added Import it went up nearly 400 quid! There ****ing at it at times i tell you!

Anyway i really cant decide between the EP and the EK! Is the 11k negotiable?

Guys I saw this car at a car show a few weeks ago and believe me this is a seriously clean example !!! As I was admiring the car myself the amount of positive reactions from other people was amazing, one of my m8s that own a Uk EP3 R was suicidle when he saw this - jelousy to an extreme degree !! haha.

Paintwork is flawless - Interior is imaculate - and with 220 im sure it will go some aswell !!!

Good Luck With The Sale M8 :nice:

Cheers - Andy

thanks bud, your ek9 was wank material

its provisionally sold, guys coming up next weekend for it.

Lovely cars, I used to have a UKDM EP3 before I bought my 9. Got bored of it within 5 months, wonder if the JDM version would make me smile as much as the 9 does?

I am the person who is going to have the car. Looked at a couple in import dealers which were ropey!! Could not believe when I saw this. Thanks again Martin for everything. Cant wait for Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having owned both ek9 & jdm ep3 why not go for the Honda Nsx? :naughty:

Let us know how ur prob goes and wot machine u get ur hands on. . . :nerv:

I've always wanted an nsx, but for a good one its alot of money, and insurance is expensive too. Maybe when i'm older :)
