few snaps from another local track day car performed nicely. quite a fun car to drive. my weekend warrior. next bit of business is to corner balance the suspension and maybe do a brake pad upgrade

thanks guys

yup some nice cars were out there... loved that cosworth escort

track is very tricky basically no run offs and lots of elevations.. but once mastered is such a fun track to drive

finally tied the knot over the weekend ...and of course i had to incorporate my 9 into some of the shots!!! thankfully my wife loves the car as much as i do !!

Huge update

Last year February I took a huge undertaking to restore my 9. Never done something like this and the car really needed it. Wanted it to be fantastic. So we started the paint stripping process

all Glass came out, all the interior everything that needed to move was moved

This was a slow methodical process that took us months to get right. There was rust everywhere especially under the windscreen and by the trunk. Under the wheel wells too. There was about 4 different paint jobs and heavy filler that was removed. But we finally got it to metal and rust taken off.

After months of body prep and waiting for an ideal time and weather conditions to spray we finally got the shell sprayed

Still so much work left as we had the doors, bumpers and all the little individual things to spray. Meanwhile the body shop had to do their other daily stuff for other customers. Just a single guy with his 2 sons in a small operation, but they are highly skilled and very talented. Worth the wait
