Hi again, so brought my car to a local guy who has a good reputation with hondas and had him give the car a full health check and found out my car has a jdm dc2 4.7 lsd :)

Anyway when inspecting it he said that it was missing a gearbox cover (believe he said a slave cylinder cover) and i'd need to get one as anything that gets in could potentionaly cause serious damage to the clutch etc. I've been trying to find a picture of one and found this

From what I thought there is only one place dirt or debre could enter the box and this is would be it? Would this be what I need?
Thanks.

yes that covers the release fork and blocks crap getting to where the clutch/flywheel are. only other place would be underneath the engine there is a small support bracket between the block and the gearbox.
