Is the ek9 elec window motor the same as a CRV

[General]

I've had the "slow window" problem, the passengers window goes down fine but is getting stuck on the way up, it's losing power and the motor starts heating up after a while. I've tried everything else like grease etc but it's not working.

I'm wondering is the electric window motor the same as a Honda CRV as my friend is breaking one?

Edit: Would the motor also be the same of any other civic?

That's what I thought but not sure if it would have to be off a 3 door 96-98/00 or could it be any Civic. Thought I'd ask first before buying it!

just confirmed that another civic one will work on ur car mate. its the exact same part.

Yep, already tried the sprays, didn't work

No, I did try to undo that and put it back but still the same.
