After looking around for some time I managed to finally find a very good condition second hand true 2.5" system at a reasonable price. I've done some research but can find a lot in regards to it, anyone know anything about the Invidia Gt300 2.5" Catback Exhaust System?

Any info greatly appreciated.

at the end of the day, an exhaust is an exhaust, IF its a true 2.5' system which i find hard to believe, then it sounds good to me, things to consider also are things like the build quality, what materials are used? will it last? does it sound like a bag of ****? google has lots of answers too

Hi thanks for your reply, It's made from SUS304 stainless steel.

Why do you find it hard to believe? It is 64mm which is 2.52 (rounded up) which equates to just over 2.5 ID

304 is spot on, I find it hard to believe mate purely because 99% of exhaust systems on offer by manufacturers are 2.5' external diameter, rather than a 2.5' internal, thats all :)

I had one installed on my EK4 when i bought it and weldings had a very good quality for me. If i remember correctly, the pipe was quite thick so enough resistant to support small impacts.

The noise was beautifull but too loud at low RPM for me (with cat and noise reducer). Without the noise reducer it just screams as hell ...
