Spoon ECU for pre-facelift EK9 for sale (soon)

Just gauging interest at the moment as I got a B18C build i'm going to be finishing off pretty soon and I have sourced a B18C Spoon ecu to replace it so no need to be keeping it around.

Comes with original Spoon ecu box also.

VTEC at around 5k drop out is 4650ish and goes all the way to 9250.

Best mod ever (Well maybe apart from the Spoon engine damper) Makes your fuel economy better and low down power is a huge gain, VTEC feels linear although you do get an extra kick around 6k.

This also removes the factory speed limit.

Offers around 400. Please also check out my b16b bottom end thread as that will be going the same time as the ECU is available so anyone doing a build/overhaul or just an a2 conversion to a "B" should be interested.

I'll just add to this that it is a FANTASTIC mod to do to an EK9, complients the usual breathing mods of inlet/header/exhaust VERY well

Certainly one of the best things i've done to my car, more grunt lower down, a much smoother crossover and it just keeps revving

Genuine Spoon with the spoon stickers sealing it so not opening it up. All Spoon specs are correct and came with the Spoon box so I had no reason to doubt it whatsoever.

PM replied to, if anyone else wants photos they will have to wait as the shells for my b18c are coming in through the post and i'd rather get everything out at once rather than be fiddly.

Ask yourself.... Does an EK9 have a B16A..? No.


It's wasted on an SiR engine.

It fits and it does improve performance but minimal compared to when fitted to a B16b.

If you do skunk stage 1s add ecu it might be good.
