hi been driving 3 years got 1 years ncb and was on my mums insurance for 2 years. i havent claimed on my insurance for both cars (fiesta 1.25 and civic ep1) and also drive a van for work since 17. how much roughly would insurance be for a ek9?

£1750-2000 if you can get insured at all that is. You better get ringing lol

Depends on where you live etc.

I could insure at EK9 for around 1400 with Bell. Im 20, 1 years NCB, 3 years driving.

Thats about right similar to what I pay but i have suspension and exhaust listed too. It dosen't hurt quite as much if you keep the same insurer and switch cars part way through a policy as you just pay the increase that if your lucky enough to be with a company that will insure you.

Yeh, they're very good for us 'young' drivers. Plus, they have by far the best online quotation system, it takes the hassle out of getting insurance quotes :nice:

I was 20 when i got my EK9...Paid £1100 a year...now 22 with 2 more years NCB and im paying £900 a year :/

Lucky for you guys i can't get insured on one till i'm 21 so looks like me and my ej9 are getting to know each even more haha

Very reasonable, How many NCB did you have?
What Company were you Insured with.

Bell is the cheapest I have found but every time I check it keeps going up... All the people who live in a low risk postcode are lucky get it cheaper so best to just get a quote.
