hey guys
I know I don't have a ek9 or even a ek chassis
since the mb4 is identical I can use the same parts with few exception
last year I bout a lower tie bar for my car a benen industries it looks great it's lightweight and I don't pay a lot I guess the guy sold me that for 60 used (never used)
everything is nice with except that the fact the tie bar is now and since last year under my couch!

so here's my problem
yes I have a mb4 chassis with is compatible with a ek chassis and sometimes with the dc2 and eg and ef
but my actual engine (b18c 98spec) is a pain in the ass with that exhaust flange
I mean near the flange there a little piece of metal that make impossible to intall the tie bar
I don't know what will happen if I cut it so I don't intall until I got a final credible answer I can't take a chance a cut it to install my bar
so somebody know if it's bad to cut it?

get some pictures up, be easier to understand your problem. Cant see why you would have to cut an exhaust flange though!

here a picture of the exhaust manifold
it's not my car but it's the same one

the little piece just before the flange pass just where my tie bar should be
