They never asked for any documents from me. They violated their own policies so I'm not paying them back. What right do they have in ruining my credit rating? They are not even a financial institution. I just won't ever use their shite services.

It is, you can if any of you want to. As long as I haven't lost out on my money (well majority my mates since I sold on his behalf), I'm not gonna bother anymore. Got better things to worry about.

My conclusion is, **** PayPal and I will never use them again.

Man this sucks your not getting anywhere, I have always been dubious about Paypal and this has solidified my opinion. F**k Paypal and stick to bank transfers!

Dude, an affidavit is a serious serious document. i highly advise you to NOT contact paypal anymore and to seek legal advise a.s.a.p.

yeah I know, I had to quote the meaning from the oxford dictionary in one of my emails to the PayPal advisors. but yeah, I'm not gonna bother with the case anymore. I mean you can email them if you like, I have the case number somewhere, probably dead time consuming but I'll leave it as that.

I've lost the £3 which I had in the account. I am not paying them back simply because of their actions. It is the end of it for me. I move on, we move on. good bye paypal

just a thought, who ever has paypal account they do not want to use, they can sell apparent fake items to a friend (who they would act as the buyer) withdraw money after "sale", buyer makes a dispute, gets money back, and seller account will be in negatives amount. buyer gets money back, withdraws money. buyer and seller both have money. PayPal ****** in negatives. because that's what had basically happened. except the "friend" bit. Everyone should just do that until PayPal **** up which I doubt would happen anyway haha!

Ally, Just wanted to clear this up with you on 'neutral ground' as it were!

If you'd PM'd me on CL with what your issue was, I'd have been backing you up 100%. You went around it completely the wrong way by coming onto CL using what is frankly, racist language. We don't tolerate it in any form, so unfortunately you had to be removed.

Since then we have spoken to the member involved and told him we think he is out of order, and that the seats will not be allowed to be advertised on CL at all.

If you'd sent me a message I would have tried to help you out, not that there is a lot I could do TBH but at least I could have tried.

For what it's worth I think Paypal were obviously in the right about refunding the money, but the seats should have been returned to you at the very least.

I know what I said was shocking, I've never in my life ever planned on writing or say such hateful message but the guy was an utter prick so i decided to anyway. And the only reason I did that was to get banned as I do not want to be involved with a forum/ community with attitude like that. I know I could have went for the better option by pm'ing you or another mod but I can only apologise to whoever I have offended, except the buyer.

Id call them one more time and if you dont get anywhere do this.

The way i see it if the buyer wasn't happy with what they bought and they received a refund you should have got the item back. I wouldn't give them the money back.
 
This thread is the exact reason I don't use PayPal.
