How to get out of private parking tickets


I got issued a private one for £40 a while ago. I simply ignored it. They wote again to say it was now double, ignored it. Thrid letter threatening court. Ignored it and still nothing lol this was like a year and a half ago now.

I then got another £40 for a seperate incident in the same place a few months later (same company) Basically applied the exact same stratedgy as before and same result. Three letters then nout haha :lol:

I dont think its worth the risk and associated costs of loosing a civil court case. they seem to just rely on intimidating you out of your money with scary letters.

Im not saying this method will work in every situation. But it did for me on both :nice:

Yh that's alright but I'd rather pay £16 and not have them harassing me. Lol
 
I agree with Ellis. I've had a few in the past from different companies. Even their threatening letters from their 'solicitors' which strangely enough trade from the same place and the same person is the director of both parking company and solicitors.
Private parking is a scam, companies who help you to avoid paying the private parking charges are also scamming you. They'll contact the private parking company, tell them they're acting on your behalf and ignore them the same as you. £16 out of your pocket and in theirs for the price of a stamp.
They're no different from the "We'll help you claim back your PPI money". Do it yourself and have all the money, not what's left after they've had their chunk.
