How tight should bottom ball joint be?

Hey guys, I done up my front hubs with new bearings and balljoints. when I fitted my balljoints they just tapped in. is this normal? I know there is a circlip but I thought they should of been more of a press fit??

Had to tap mine in a bit, nothing excessive though.

How easy does it come back out? If it doesn't want to come back out just make sure the clip is seated correctly.

Press tight fit.

Mine have usually been tight going in but egs dont have circlips. If its fully in and you can get the clip on then it should be fine, once on the car and bolted in place its being held in anyway so not like itll fall off

You could make it tighter by taking a very small hammer and roughen the side of the balljoint with little dents and then pressing them in.
