How much is a B16B worth?

Hi all,

I'm currently toying with the idea of putting a B18 int ek9.

Just wondering what a B16B is worth so I can work out the costs envolved?

If this is the UK then around £1200 with ancillaries depending on mileage I would have thought. Livvy recently had a bare engine for £700 and gearbox for £300 from a B16b, we were thinking about buying it as a spare set-up but it got snapped up pretty quickly so it must've been a bargain price :nice:
 
between 1-1.2k mate depending on mileage, general condition, oil consumption, service history etc..
 
a guy offer me 1k for it this afternoon. but i think im going to build it up for the 99 spec.

I'm in the uk the engines only done 61k. Runs sweet. Just had cambelt/waterpump and filters changed too.

Food for thought, see if I can get hold of a b18 now.

I think may keep the s4c box though.

why keep the box, isn't it the ITR box better?
 
96 spec itr box is the same is it not? 98 spec box is meant to be a nice one.

S4c IMO have lovely long ratio's. Makes cruising nice.

Still, just thoughts at moment.

It's all dependant on how much I can get hold of a b18 for.
