How Insurance Companies See Your Postcode

B for me, that would explain why my insurance doesn't cost a great deal :D.

LOL, Elchunk speaks the truth.

HAHA

half of them are complete bullshit... don't believe any of this ****... yeah i don't doubt the insurnace companies use this but they are SO wrong..

LMAO how can you grade an area of risk for cars to be nicked... you cannot judge the people that live in an area by statistics of how many cars are stolen..
one of the most violent places in norwich is now one of the best places to live and this is over the past 6 - 8 years.. Idiots if you ask me... insurance is all a Scam as elchunk showed

I agree. I am in group A and still paying a fortune; at the end of the day Insurers will basicly charge you what they like in there own terms and agreements. The industry definitely needs reformed completely.

The area ratings posted is only a rough guide.. different insurers will have their own area ratings and these will vary from insurer to insurer.

Fair enough. It just took me by surprise a little as i've never had an insurance company not able to give me a quote. I thought i lived in an area that was car friendly lol.

My area on there is an E*, jeez! Didn't think car crime was that bad around here *touch wood* I have a BD postcode but don't actually live in Bradford, get tarred with the same brush the and get fairly high insurance, some companies like Sky won't even quote!
