Does anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity on a Hornet car alarm? Not sure of the exact model number as not manged to get to the control box behind the dashboard as yet, but it could possibly be a MAXX1 or 742T from what I have read about the spec and from the look of the key fobs! The alarm was already on the car when I bought it 4 years ago so I haven't got any papers etc.

Some nights the alarm activates because of vibrations from large lorries driving past, therefore I would like to reduce this slightly otherwise my neighbours will be reducing me.......!!!

Cheers :)

you'll need to find the shock sensor and theres usually a dial on it to adjust how sensitive it is.

Thanks for the response - I take it that the shock sensor would be located on the actual control box or would it be a separate device?
