Honda to debut new convertible sportscar concept at Tokyo motor show

S2000 as weekend cars and that as a daily :)
 
Quite tidy. Would make a great candidate for a hybrid, about the same weight as my insight and a small (or not so small) motor makes a serious difference (22Nm / 16ftlb) as all your torque is from a stand still.
 
Needs more power!! Even turning the boost up on it isn't going to gain much lol I'd want at least double the stock power with 850kg to carry.
 
Yeah 1litre it said, so 1litre turbo rough guess about 100hp? Seen as the 660cc puts out 64.
 
That's still about 120 bhp per tonne. Would be pretty nippy!
 
118hp per ton if 100hp. Makes it the same as an escort xr3i lol
 
This is a kei city car though, its looking to compete with the likes of the smart cabri, not replace the S2000. if you want a monster drop a K20 in it, like the B18c beat!
 
Perfect for their market, not sure if the European marker will catch on.
