Car for sale: Honda integra dc2 98 UK spec (Cheaper insurance ) in Championship white
Condition: 7/10 (small rust spots on back arches)
Location: Rushall 10 miles North of birmingham West midlands.
Price: 2900ono with full MOT 2800ono with MOT till july this year. (NO PX CASH ONLY)
Description: Welcome people this is my Uk spec DC2 which I have owned since december last year and have loved every minute of it! reason for sale is going to Audi/Bmw for a change as all ive had is hondas so just fancy a change
Its done 104,800 roughly as its been drove to work today (30/4/13 for a Valet) Will be going back to my house as the tax is up tommorow so I'll be SORNING the car as ive bought a 106 run around.
Car drives fine, the previous owner had changed all bushes to (Still OEM Spec) and changed a couple of the engine mounts, pulls well in every gear no no smoke in Vtec.
I always let the car warm up and never go over 3000 RPM until the car has warmed up, doenst drink any oil.
It has drilled and grooved discs all round which stop pretty well, the previous owner again had replaced them shortly before I bought it.
Car did have aircon but the old owner removed (weight saving apprantly lol) didnt bother me one bit aircon in a car like this is pointless anyway IMO.
Bodywork is good for the age! both rear aches have small rust spots as pictures show, also one very small mark on the front bumper (someone caught it in a carpark) and a small scuff on the front splitter (caught on a crappy carpark) but again barely noticable, the Type R Stickers were taken of again by the previous owner as they were coming away (these can be bought from honda or traders of here if needed)
Wheels are original and have been recenetly powercoated (by previous owner again but really are mint condition)
As far as mods its pretty stock, mods are as follows:
Uprated HT Leads
Drilled and grooved Discs
Full Sun strip! (JDM Points)
JDM Full 2.5 Exhaust swap (INC Cat Converter + Manifold)
Carbon Fibre Spoiler Plinth thing (Teshi product if I remember correctly)
Toad Cat 1 Alarm (comes with spare fob)
Rocker cover sprayed crinkle red (not a mod but though would throw that in there)
As stated above MOT runs out in July this year and tax is up tommorow.
One thing I need to double check on is the Service history as the previous owner did alot of work himself (I.e replaced bushes and servicing etc)
I can confirm I have service history until 18835 (as stated alot of the work was done by the previous owner himself) more than happy to do a service if needed.
Got lots of paperwork + Reciepts (had 3 and 4 Gear sychro replaced by honda) also have a spare key but No red key.
BAD Points (every car has them)
The alarm doesnt seem to lock itself on the fob when the weathers cold lol again not to sure why this is but I just use the key anyway bust most the time its ok.
Steering wheel does have some wear (was going to change but never got round to do it)
Couple of scuffs on the front bumper
Front recaros have some fag burns + Drivers one does have a slight rip (check pics)
Honda badges have faded (common problem)
that's about it for now, pretty sure the rest is ok.
Since december the only work ive done to it is replace the O/S Rear Wheel bearing (Was nakered when I bought the car) but that was sorted same week I bought it (Have reciept somewere)
Viewing is fine with me but at the moment I have no phone! (was robbed thanks to some kid person in leicester last weekend) so best way to contact is on here for now! I do log on every day.
As stated the cars in Rushall roughly 10 miles north of birmingham (down the road from walsall) and im free most the time as I work only 10 mins down the road.
Im pricing it fairly I think, ive noticied the prices have seem to have crept up on ebay! but I don't expect to get what there asking as you could buy a JDM one.
